White Stripes lead-man, Jack White, recently sounded off in NME magazine about it''s "sad" that kids are learning about new music through video games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band. We don't disagree with his sentiment but apparently Mr. White is all talk. They agreed to have some of their new tracks added to Guitar Hero 5. We have a couple thoughts for Mr. White...
1) If you think it's sad that companies market your music through video games so you can make money then don't do it. Simply refuse to let your songs be part of those games and eat the loss in revenue.
2) FUCK YOU. Who do you think you are? Is the free market supposed to bow to Jack White's moral objection to marketing via video games? What a joke. Listen here you bitch-made-bitch... the reason you're a famous millionaire is because smart business people have figured out ways for you to monetize the music you make. If it wasn't for these guys you'd be sleeping in a fucking car eating foods stamps. Don't bite the hand that feeds you unless you're willing to starve. There's nothing wrong with being anti-corporate as long as you actually live that lifestyle. Don't criticize marketing tactics and then collect checks.
In summary stop being a hypocritical, whining bitch. Play your fucking guitar and thank your label next time you visit their offices for buying your house. Dickface.
