Andre Agassi + Crystal Meth = That Hair

 
In his new book, "Open", Andre Agassi admits to using crystal meth during the 1997 ATP season. According to the Times of London, Agassi wrote that his assistant, Slim, was the person who introduced him to crystal meth. Slim dumped a small pile of powder on the coffee table and Agassi wrote:

"I snort some. I ease back on the couch and consider the Rubicon I've just crossed," Agassi writes. There is a moment of regret, followed by vast sadness. Then comes a tidal wave of euphoria that sweeps away every negative thought in my head. I've never felt so alive, so hopeful - and I've never felt such energy. I'm seized by a desperate desire to clean. I go tearing around my house, cleaning it from top to bottom. I dust the furniture. I scour the tub. I make the beds."

I don't know much about crystal meth but it sounds awesome! After hearing about his drug abuse we don't know what's most impressive about Andre Agassi's career:

a) He won a junior national tournament in Vegas hungover wearing jeans

b) He was a crystal meth addict for an entire professional tennis season and bounced back to win majors

c) His one-hit-wonder Nike shoes

Boston College running back Josh Haden is transferring. Haden, the team's second leading rusher, is leaving BC but taking his bad-ass tattoo with him. What are his new teammates going to think when they see his Boston College tattoo? Can you imagine how much shit he's going to get? Seems like it'd be easier to just stay at BC and avoid the ridicule and laughing from your new teammates. Either that or transfer to the British Columbia University Falcons. What a dip-shit.

Another Dumbass, Broke ex-NBA Player

 

Latrell Sprewell followed Antoine Walker's path into bankruptcy after selling his yacht at an auction for $1.5 million. Sprewell is famous for turning down a 3-year, $21 million contract extension saying, "I've got my family to feed." What a piece of shit.

I went to grab a 12 pack of Miller Lite tonight and some Kodiak Wintergreen. At that point I had not had dinner and was debating on grabbing some Wendy's, which is next door to the gas station. I ask myself,"do I really need to spend more money on fast food when I can make food at home?" Well, my answer was "no". You might ask...why? Well, when two guys in the NBA claim they can't feed their kids on $150 million dollars it makes me feel like I should hold back on my three dollars I have in my wallet.

For three dollars I can get a lap dance at Kahoots (and maybe an STD), I can get a Red Bull, maybe even a six pack of cheap beer for the game. This all goes back to how you want to live your life. Do you want to blow your money on your friends and family...and cousins, grandparents, classmates, girlfriends, baby's mommas, etc... or do you want to appreciate what you have. I have more fun on $60 at a preseason Cavs vs. Celtics game than these guys have in their lives as millionaires. Antoine and Latrell spent 15 years lifting weights, posting up, shooting jumpers and taking charges than we spend shitting, but they never stop to think..."hmmmm, maybe I should save a few bucks so I can buy beer and dip at the gas station and then buy a triple cheeseburger at Wendy's."

It makes me sick to think what some us could do with that much money. God bless America! I hope to God Stern doesn't come up with a Senior NBA so I can sit back and enjoy my All American Cheeseburger while Latrell Spreewell and Antoine split a frozen pizza. That's my two cents and I'm pissed I just spent that much.
