Even after losing to Navy at home 23-21, fat-boy Charles Weis apparently doesn't believe he needs to change his approach to coaching. Really Chuck? You just lost to Navy at home! Your players are bigger, faster and stronger than Navy accross the board. You get paid $4.2 million a year while Navy's head coach, Ken Niumatalolo, gets paid $750,000.
We're not Notre Dame fans here at TDB, but we are college football fans. We can understand Notre Dame losing to USC because Charlie Weis has zero percent chance against Pete Carroll. What we find reprehensible is for Notre Dame to lose at home to a services academy and then have the head coach deny at the post-game press conference that he needs to make adjustments. If I were a Notre Dame alum I would vote to pay the fat bastard his $18 million buyout to leave South Bend forever.
It's one thing to lose gracefully, take ridicule like a man and admit you need to make a change. It's another thing entirely to refuse to admit you're the problem loss after loss after loss. Unbelievable.

The video just showed a broken coach. This was not the old Charlie Weis with a lot of fight in him. This is Charlie Weis who knows is time is up, and who is now just simply "going through the motions". Fascinating to watch. Although this may be (depending on next weeks) his most successful year in recent ND history, it may be his last.
