Manning or Brady?

We're sure this isn't the first time you've heard this question, and it certainly won't be the last, but this time we wanted to provide a few scenarios. We felt it was important to ask different questions because each quarterback is unique in his own way. One thing is clear however, there is no 3rd option, so don't even throw that shit into the conversation (Favre and Brees fans, you know who you are).

1) You're the Owner of a franchise with an unlimited budget and both guys are free-agents. You get to pick one guy, at this point in their career today to build your franchise around. Who do you pick?

2) You're the head coach and your team is down 6 with 2 minutes left in the Super Bowl. Who would you rather have behind center?

3) You're going to a bar and need a wing-man, which signal-caller do you invite for drinks?

There wasn't too much movement in the Top Ten this week but there were a lot of scares. The Yellow Jackets and Panthers fell in the rankings with losses to Georgia and West Virginia, respectively. Although both losses were upsets nobody was surprised. The Crimson Tide, Longhorns and Bearcats all won their games but each made things more interesting than expected. Of course, at this point in the season, wins trump style points every time.

Yesterday was Tim Tebow's last game in the Swamp and he made it a memorable one beating the Seminoles 37-10 in a blowout. It may have also been Bobby Bowden's final game in Gainesville as his future at Florida State is in question.

The Oregon Ducks plays Oregon State this Thursday in a in-state rivalry that will decide who the Buckeyes play in the Rose Bowl on January 1. Then, on Saturday night, we all get to watch the game of the year when #1 Florida faces #2 Alabama in the SEC Championship. The winner will most likely play Texas in the BCS National Championship Game on January 7th in Pasadena.

Jack Nicholson's Courtside Buddy

Many of you have probably watched a Lakers game and wondered, "Who the hell is that crazy guy sitting next to Jack Nicholson?" Well, his name is Lou Adler, and he's one bad hombre. Lou is an accomplished producer, manager and director. According to his Wikipedia page Lou has accomplished many impressive things during his career, but I'd have to say that directing Up in Smoke was his Mona Lisa.
